This increase offers the benefit of more surface area for the fan blades, which provides a boost to the airflow and static pressure. Another innovation is the choice of materials utilised in the construction. Instead of the usual plastics that are traditionally used for fan blades, these utilise Liquid-Crystal Polymer (LCP).
