The Lian Li Edge Gold 1000W PSU with its unique design, and exceptional power delivery is perfect for high end gaming PCs, especially those built in dual chamber cases. The Edge Gold is manufactured from premium components, including high-quality German EPCOS capacitors, and has achieved an 80 PLUS Gold rating, meaning they are 92% efficient whilst at half load. Furthermore, a Lian Li Edge PSU can deliver power to all your gaming hardware as it boasts a full range of power outputs, including native 12V-2X6. What’s more, the Edge Gold features an innovative layout, that moves the ports from their traditional position on the side of the PSU, to their own dedicated housing. Doing this puts less strain on the ports when connecting cables and offers easier access when the PSU is installed. Alongside this, the Lian Li Edge 1000W boasts the industry's first ever detachable and relocatable USB and PWM hub. This hub can interface directly with the PSU or be moved to other locations within your PC by using a PCIe connection. The Lian Li Edge also features a magnetic dust filter, making cleaning much simpler, without compromising on safety.

Phenomenal Power for Your Gaming PC

The Lian Li Edge Gold PSU is an exceptional power supply unit, whether you’re building a top-tier gaming PC or a powerful workstation. The 1000W power delivery supports a wide range of hardware, including power hungry components such as an Intel Core i9-14700K CPU or an NVIDIA RTX 4080 Super GPU.

The Lian Li Edge PSU is constructed from premium quality components designed to facilitate outstanding performance and energy efficiency. In place of the traditional Japanese capacitors, the Edge Gold comes with a range of industrial-grade German EPCOS capacitors. Whilst smaller, these caps are much more robust and are often utilised in the motor industry for vital components, such as the engine control unit and ABS brakes. Thanks to using high-end components, the Lian Li Edge is incredibly efficient and has received an 80 PLUS Gold certification, meaning it remains 92% efficient whilst under a half load.

Innovative Form Factor

The Lian Li Edge PSU utilises a unique L-Shaped form factor, which can accommodate a longer PCB. Because of this, the power ports can be directly mounted to the board instead of to a separate daughter board, providing a much more secure connection. What's more, this highly efficient design leads to a cleaner cable set-up with no kinks or bends, as the power cables will exit at a 90° angle and can travel directly to your hardware.

Alongside this, the unique layout is much more user-friendly, especially when installed in a dual-chamber case where the PSU is vertically mounted. You’ll have easy access to all the power outputs, perfect for plugging in your power cables or making upgrades when the PSU is in place. However, the Lian Li Gold Edge is also highly compatible with many case layouts. Most standard chassis with a PSU shroud include removable cover plates for mounting storage drives. Removing these can give you direct access to the PSU ports of a Lian Li Gold Edge when mounted with the fan facing up.

An Industry First

The Lian Li Edge Gold PSU is the next logical step over the previous generation of Lian Li Edge PSUs. In place of an integrated USB hub, the Edge Gold boasts a versatile removable model with both USB and PWM connectivity. When mounted to the Edge Gold, the hub draws power from a dedicated connector built into its rear panel. When detached and mounted elsewhere, power is supplied through a PCIe power interface.

The removable hub of the Lian Li Edge Gold PSU features four USB headers, alongside six extended 4-pin PWM connectors. These ports support multiple devices simultaneously, with the USB headers offering a total output of 2.5A, whilst the 4-pin connectors can each individually deliver up to 2A. Perfect for supporting Lian Li Strimmer cables and UNI Series fans!
