The Gateron North Pole 3.0 switch is an improvement over the North Pole 2.0 with new stronger triple layer pin & the rubber noise dampening ring removed.

By equipped these switches with a gold plated spring and gold contact, it ensures oxidation resistance and anti-vulcanization performance to increase the switch’s operational lifespan to last about 80 million times.
