      🙉🙉🙉 ❤️❤️❤️

Really happy with the way my keyboard feels and sounds with these switches. I fell down a custom keyboard rabbit-hole on YouTube after looking for programmable keyboards that I could create macros on and got completely waylaid by all the custom kits and keycaps that were available to build something that was unique to you. But I was utterly bemused by the fixation on the thocky or clacky sound of the switches that people in the hobby seem to obsess over. I prefer cathedral-like silence in my work-environment and all the switches seemed equally annoying. I was very happy to discover that silent switches were a thing and bought a pack of Epomaker Iceberg silent switches on Amazon. A vast improvement over the Glorious White switches that came with my keyboard, although the 1 pack wasn't enough to sort out all my keys and they remained stubbornly out of stock. I researched a bit and decided that either Boba U4, Durock Daybreak or Gateron Silent Ink switches were the ones to try next and these just happened to be in stock. I have lubed them with Krytox 205G0 (lubing is essential with these) and they are so much better than the Epomaker. Really smooth and so, so quiet. Not absolutely silent, and perhaps marginally louder than the Epomaker switches but the low, muted pitch is quite pleasant and doesn't grate on my nerves in the slightest.
